Placement Policy

1. Objective

The primary objective of the Placement Cell is to facilitate the placement of students in reputable organizations and to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

 

2. Eligibility Criteria

i. Academic Requirements:

  • Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) or percentage of [Insert CGPA or percentage] to be eligible for campus placements.
  • No active backlogs are permitted at the time of placement registration.

 
ii. Disciplinary Record:

  • Students with any disciplinary actions against them may be disqualified from participating in the placement process.

 

3. Registration Process

i. Mandatory Registration:

  • o Interested students must register with the Placement Cell by completing the Offline registration form within the stipulated deadline.

 
ii. Resume Submission:

  • Students are required to submit an updated resume in the prescribed format provided by the Placement Cell.

 

4. Placement Process

i. Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs):

  •  Companies may conduct PPTs to provide insights into their organization, job roles, and selection process. Attendance is mandatory for interested candidates.

 
ii. Application Procedure:

  • Students can apply to companies of their choice, provided they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the employer.

 
iii. Selection Rounds:

  • The selection process may include aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interviews, as per the company's recruitment policy.

 

5. Offer Policy

i. Single Offer Rule:

  •  A student is permitted to accept only one job offer. Upon acceptance, the student will be withdrawn from the placement process.

 

6. Code of Conduct

i Punctuality:

  • Students must adhere to the schedules announced by the Placement Cell and attend all interviews and tests punctually.

 
ii. Professionalism:

  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with recruiters and during the selection process.

 
iii. Withdrawal:

  • If a student wishes to withdraw from the selection process of a particular company, they must inform the Placement Cell at least [Insert Timeframe] before the scheduled interview.

 

7. Breach of Policy

i Consequences:

  • Non-compliance with the placement policy may result in disqualification from the placement process and/or disciplinary action.

 

8. Communication

i. Official Correspondence:

  • All placement-related information will be communicated through official Email & Students Whatsapp Group. Students are advised to check for updates regularly.

 

9. Grievance Redressal

i. Procedure:

  • Students can report any grievances related to the placement process to the Placement Officer. Issues will be addressed promptly and confidentially.
